We are 500+ members strong, but we know the community of mountain bikers in the Huntsville area is much larger than that - we’d love to have your support so we can do more to give back to our trails and our community!

WHY does membership matter?

Your membership dues go directly back into the trails you ride every day at locations including Monte Sano State Park, the Land Trust of North Alabama trail systems, the City of Huntsville’s John Hunt Park and Oak Park, the Space and Rocket Center, Redstone Arsenal, and more! HAMR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run organization. We pay no staff, and work hard as volunteers to make big things happen for the community! We also support local youth organizations with our own Tuesday Night Kids Rides, and monetary support to local ACA and youth development teams for mountain biking.

Active membership is about so much more than paying an annual fee. As with many things in life, the more you put in, the more you’ll get out of your membership. We run on volunteer power, so the more volunteers we have at work days, rides, events, etc., the better and bigger they become! All paying members receive the following benefits:

As a member of HAMR, enjoy benefits including:

-Ability to register for HAMR’s Summer Race League

-Ability to participate in the Annual Epic Trip and other member-only rides/events

-10% discount at ALL of our Local Bike Shops: Bicycle Cove, Southern Carnage, Sunset Bicycles, and Trailhead Bicycles (must show current membership card)

-Discounts on clinics, festivals, and other HAMR-hosted events

-PAID training opportunities for continuing education, including trail care, first aid, and instructor certifications for our most engaged volunteers
